The Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey is pleased to introduce Lauren Rudin as our Supportive Services Navigator. Rudin has worked with individuals with special needs and their families for over 20 years with experience in preschool, youth, and family counseling; foster care; and Jewish education. For 11 of those years, she worked as a child study team school social worker. Rudin is passionate about leveling the playing field for everyone, regardless of their ability level.

As a lifelong resident of South Jersey, she is excited to be working with the community’s most vulnerable populations. Rudin’s vision for her new position as the Jewish Federation’s Supportive Services Navigator is to continue the focus on supporting individuals and families affiliated with area Jewish organizations while creating an inclusive and supportive community for older adults and those with different abilities.

Rudin was born and raised in Burlington County, New Jersey. She is a proud graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Social Work. Rudin looks forward to being able to spend more time with her family now that she’s working closer to home. Rudin has an amazing spouse, Joel, and two wonderful stepchildren.

She can be reached at (856) 751-9500 ext. 1407 or

“The Navigator was great to work with. She put me in touch with a resource that was able to help me in one phone call. I feel so lucky we have her in our community to help the many families with children with special needs.”
