All of the services they offer, both as attorneys and educational advocates for students with disabilities, fall under one category: they work to bridge the gap between parents and school districts. School districts provide educational services, but may not see eye-to-eye with families about what tools a student needs to be successful. Students are entitled to certain rights under the law. For example, students are entitled to a Free and Appropriate Education (FAPE) in the Least Restrictive Environment (LRE). They work to ensure students’ rights are upheld.
